Software Architecture, Design and Implementation

We have a track record in Unix software implementation, design and architecture from system-level software architecture to web and middleware based user applications. Contrary to the typical approach, our preferred way of working tends to the minimal feature set then extending. We prefer to get it working for the user first, then make sure all the fringe benefits work.

We have direct experience in multi-host; multi-process, and/or multi-threaded architectures, and particular expertise in extending existing architecture to support new goals.

Inter process communications methods range from CORBA, through Oasis Mail boxes (message queues), to the TCP socket layer, as well as the standard protocols such as HTTP.
